Windy wake up – 2/4/19

TODAY: We start out the morning with fairly gusty winds, esepcially if you live north and west of the I-25 cooridor. The worst of the winds die down following sunrise. The afternoon looks breezy with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 50s to low 60s. Our mountain cities will top off in the mid 40s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies tonight with lows dropping into the upper 20s and low 30s. Places in the mountains will be feeling the mid 20s tonight. It will be cooler tonight due to less wind.

EXTENDED: Tuesday is looking nice and dry before winter makes a return on Wedensday. We do have a weather alert out for the day on Wednesday, thanks to some windy weather, cold and snow. Impacts haven’t been nailed down yet, but you’ll definitely need to dust off the winter jacket thanks to the return of highs in the 30s. A few lingering snow showers are possible on Thursday morning before we dry out and clear out into Friday and Saturday.
