Pattern Change Ahead 2-4-2019

TONIGHT: Winds calming out of the south around 5-10 mph this evening. Partly cloudy skies with overnight lows dropping into the upper 20s and low 30s. Places in the mountains will be feeling the mid 20s tonight. It will be cooler tonight due to less wind.

TOMORROW: Plenty of sunshine to start the day with highs climbing back into the 50’s for most of southern Colorado. A cold front arrives Wednesday brining windy conditions and some moisture could linger across the front range and palmer divide, enough for a few flurries that could make for some light accumulations of snow by Wednesday afternoon. As a result, we have issued a weather alert for Wednesday but you’ll definitely need to dust off the winter jacket thanks to the return of highs in the 30s. A few lingering snow showers are possible on Thursday morning before we dry out and clear out into Friday and Saturday.

EXTENDED: Clearing skies Thursday afternoon but highs staying colder in the upper 20’s with a return of highs in the 30’s by Friday.
