Armed suspects rob man’s hotel room in northern Colorado Springs

Police were dispatched to a hotel near Academy Blvd. and Voyager Pkwy. for reports of a personal robbery where a man had been struck in the head with a gun.

Further investigation revealed that the victim heard a knock at his door and answered it. Three unknown suspects then entered the man’s room and threatened him with a gun demanding money.

One of the suspects struck the man over the head with a gun and it fired, the round went through the curtains and into the window frame.

The suspects left the hotel room with several items and money. Police report the victim refused medical treatment on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
