Nick Carter’s Saturday Night Forecast

Warm, dry and breezy conditions will stay with us on Sunday, but a brewing winter storm system is forming across the Pacific Northwest, and it’s scooping up a lot of moisture that will hit our mountains on Monday. Look for high temperatures in the 50s for the Southeast Plains on Sunday and Monday. But then brace for snow showers on Monday night into Tuesday. There’s a good chance that locations along the Palmer Divide, could get anywhere from 3 to 5 inches of wet, heavy snow by Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be cold and icy with highs near 30 degrees, ten another storm brings snow showers to the area on Thursday. Next weekend will be mild and dry.
