Warming things up again – 1/15/19

TODAY: The only fog we will be seeing this morning is in the San Luis Valley through Alamosa. Everyone else will be seeing a clear and cold start with temps in the 20s. Later on today, skies become partly cloudy and we will see highs climb into the 40s and 50s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and not as cold. Temperatures will be in the mid 20s to around 30 degrees.

EXTENDED: Western and central mountain snow picks up in coverage tonight through Thursday. Along the front range, west winds will keep us in the 50s, despite increasing clouds. Our next winter storm system moves in on Friday in the form of rain and snow. This still has to make landfall on the west coast, so we won’t have a better idea of timing and impacts until that happens. That looks to be around Wednesday evening.
