Sexually violent predator moves to Colorado Springs, convicted of child sexual assault

Police notified the public on Tuesday that a Sexually Violent Predator has moved to Colorado Springs.

Mario Andres Gutierrez, 29, currently resides at 2706 Northridge Drive.

Gutierrez has been convicted of sexual assault on a child in El Paso County, sexual assault-overcome victim’s will in El Paso County, driving under the influence, telephone-obstruct service, third-degree assault and underage possession/consumption of alcohol.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 29-years-old, 5’6″ tall, 155 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Gutierrez is one of 16 Sexually Violent Predators registered with the department.
