‘Wizard of Oz’ returns to theaters in 2019

As part of the 80th anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz,” Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and Fathom Events will team up to bring the movie back to theaters for audiences to enjoy once again.

The movie first premiered in 1939. If you’ve never seen the movie, you can now catch the musical classic in all of its glory on the big screen with surround sound.

If you’re interested in seeing the movie, you are going to want to mark your calendars. The film will only play for three days. It will play Sunday, January 27th, Tuesday, January 29th, and Wednesday, January 30th.

‘The Wizard of Oz’ will be playing with 500 movie theaters nationwide. You can visit the Fathom Events website and enter your zip code to find a theater closest to you.
