More clouds than sunshine – 1/9/19

TODAY: High clouds will be building through the morning and afternoon today. These aren’t expected to bring us any rain, but we will be feeling cool afternoon highs because of them. Temps today top off in the mid to upper 40s with lower elevations and places out east reaching the low 50s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Higher elevation mountain cities could feel the upper teens again.

EXTENDED: Thursday brings more sunshine with mild highs in the 50s. By Friday, winter returns. Rain and snow showers still look to start in the afternoon and should taper off following midnight into Saturday. Some accumulation does look possible, especially in higher terrain areas. We will keep you updated on how the forecast develops through tomorrow. Highs both Friday and Saturday will be in the 30s to low 40s.
