Mild Thursday, Snow Chances Friday 1-9-19

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Higher elevation mountain cities could feel the upper teens again.

TOMORROW: Some periods of sun through Thursday morning are likely;however, clouds will continue to increase by the afternoon as our next disturbance moves in bringing the chance for snow by Friday.

EXTENDED: Snow showers will begin overnight Thursday and early Friday morning along and west of I-25. Scattered snow showers will begin by the afternoon hours for nearly all of southern Colorado. Accumulations will be likely with the highest confidence for moderate snowfall for the Pike’s Peak region and Palmer Divide with lighter accumulations expected for the Southeastern Plains. We will keep you updated on how the forecast develops through tomorrow. Highs both Friday and Saturday will be in the 30s to low 40s.
