Nick’s Sunday Night Weather

Monday morning is New Year’s Eve and we’ll wake up to gray skies, biting cold northerly winds, and light snow across the Front Range of Eastern Colorado. Winds pick up during the day dropping wind chill values into the sub zero range by evening. Expect 1-3 inches of new snow in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, with up to a foot of fresh powder across the Sangre de Cristos and Wet Mountains. The New Year starts on Tuesday with morning snow showers, and a gradual clearing. Highs will only be in the teens. Temperatures will rebound by the week’s end with highs in the 40s and 50s on Saturday and Sunday.
