DUI driver gets foot stuck in steering wheel

You may have some fun stories to share from New Year’s Eve, but it probably doesn’t beat this one.

A DUI driver in central Los Angeles got his foot stuck in the steering after being involved in a hit-and-run wreck where he tried to flee.

The California Highway Patrol posted the picture to their Facebook page with a funny message, reminding folks to not drink and drive.

They say the driver tried leaning over a gate keypad when the man fell out of the driver’s side window and got his foot stuck in the steering wheel.

Cathedral City police arrived and helped him out, then took him to jail.
