WEATHER ALERT: Slick roads and light snow this morning – 12/29/18

TODAY: We kick off the day with light, fluffy snow and some clouds. Watch out for slick roads, bridges and overpasses. The snow wraps up this morning and we are making way for dry, partly cloudy skies today. Highs will warm into the 20s and 30s, so we will be feeling better than yesterday.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Lows will be in the teens along and east of I-25. Places over the higher terrain and mountains will feel the single digits again.

EXTENDED: Sunday looks sunny and mild with highs in the 40s and 50s. Snow will be moving in on New Years Eve, so that will make for a bitter cold and wintry end to 2018. Right now it looks as though we might have trouble seeing the fireworks on Pikes Peak due to lingering clouds. Lows heading into the morning of the new year will be in the single digits to -5.
