School bus driver buys Christmas gifts for each kid on his route

A school bus driver in Dallas, Texas is going viral for becoming like a Santa to the kids he drives to and from school.

According to ABC News, a driver for Lake Highlands Elementary School, Curtis Jenkins, asked each of the kids on his bus route what they wanted for Christmas. With the help of a few community members, Jenkins took his own money and bought a gift for every one of the kids.

In total, Jenkins bought 70 gifts and passed them out after students were picked up at school on Dec. 21.

Photos of the occasion were posted to the Lake Highlands Elementary School’s Facebook page with the caption, “This reminds us how much good there is in the world and how we should all strive to be a little more like Curtis.”
