Winter Park Resort celebrates grand opening of new 10 person gondola

Winter Park Resort is celebrating the grand opening of its new gondola. As of Thursday, Dec. 27, The new $21-million, 10 person, high-speed gondola named, “The Gondola”, is officially opened to the public.

The resort celebrated with stickers, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, and free custom donuts from Voodoo Doughnuts in Denver.

“The Gondola” is the largest life project Winter Park Resort has ever undertaken and took a total of eight months to construct.
