A round of light snow 12-27-18

TONIGHT: Light, fluffy snow develops again after midnight. This continues into the morning hours tomorrow. Lows tonight will be bitter cold and will drop into the teens and single digits. Mountain cities will be between 0 and -2.

TOMORROW: Snow showers will be ongoing through the afternoon for much of southern Colorado, especially over the southern mountains. When snow clears in the late afternoon and early evening, we will be left with very minor accumulations. Look for a trace to 2″ here in the Pikes Peak Region (if that), with around 1-3″ through areas near the southern mountains. Highs only warm to the teens and 20s.

EXTENDED: Gradually clearing skies take place into Saturday with highs warming up a little, climbing to the 20s and 30s. Even warmer conditions settle in Sunday ahead of our next storm. Highs Sunday are in the 30s and 40s before dropping back down again into New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day will feature the chance for snow, wind and cold once again.
