Dog born without a nose, crooked teeth looks to find forever home for Christmas

A stray dog with unique characteristics in Florida is looking to find a forever home this Christmas.

Going by the name Sniffles, the pooch born without a nose and crooked teeth has captured the hearts of workers at the veterinarian’s office, according to ABC 13 News.

Workers say his snorts and deformity has led people to pass him in while looking to adopt a pet.

Genesis Diaz, who has been fostering pets for the last 12 years, says if someone would just give Sniffles a chance, they would learn how special he truly is.

“This morning, I woke up and he was at the edge of my bed, staring at me and he ran over and did a little twirl, and started licking my face,” Diaz said according to ABC 13.

Michelle Wacker at Orange County Animal Services says Sniffles is overall a healthy dog, “he just looks a little funny.”

“He’s just a precious old man,” Wacker said. “Everyone at the vet’s office has fallen in love with him.”

Vets say Sniffles is scheduled for a dentist’s visit before the new year, so if you re looking to adopt, you can expect for his toothy grin to maybe change a bit.

The workers here hope someone will open their homes to make sure he finds a new home for 2019.
