Weather Alert Day: drop in temps, few showers – 12/22/18

TODAY: We start the day out with sunshine but scattered clouds will be on the increase. Spotty flurries and snow showers are possible through the mid morning, but better chances for scattered snow showers move in with that front during the late morning and early afternoon. Winds should also pick up around this time. Highs will be in the 40s today, but it will feel cooler because of the breeze.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and bitter cold. Lows will be in the low teens to upper single digits, especially over the mountains.

EXTENDED: The second half of the weekend is looking nice and dry as well as the Christmas holiday! Look for sun and clouds with highs in the 40s. More significant snow will be moving in, very late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Right now it is too early to determine impacts, but accumulation does look possible. We will keep you updated!
