Breezy and Warm Friday 12-20-18

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool. Lows drop to the 20s for all areas in Southern Colorado.

TOMORROW: Breezy west winds kick in tomorrow bringing much warmer temps. Afternoon highs climb to the 50s and 60s. Unfortunately we will be tracking low humidity and our fuels have dried out so this will lead to high fire danger. Red Flag Warnings have been posted along the I-25 corridor where winds will be strongest.

EXTENDED: A cold front cools us off on Saturday with a few clouds rolling in. Some passing flurries or light snow showers look possible through the Pikes Peak Region on Saturday but accumulation doesn’t look likely. Temps remain in the 30s and 40s during the weekend but warm up a little for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Mainly dry conditions continue during this time but a stronger storm may begin to push in late on Christmas Day. This will be bringing cold and some snow back to Southern Colorado.
