Woman arrested after bringing Samurai swords on Colorado Springs school campus

The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a woman Friday morning for carrying Samurai swords and other knives on the Vanguard School campus.

Police arrested 29-year-old Jillian Haddan after school administrators found her laying on the exterior wall of the school grounds with two large Samurai swords and knives on and around her.

According to police, no specific threats were made by Haddan, however, she had no legitimate business being on the campus and had become a potential threat.

Haddan was taken into custody and booked into the Criminal Justice Center for weapons on school grounds.
