Wanted Lakewood man followed from Co. Springs to Pueblo, is arrested

The Pueblo Police Department, FBI Safe Streets and BATTLE South Taskforce (a multi-jurisdictional team focusing on motor vehicle thefts) worked together to arrest an attempted murder suspect in Pueblo Monday afternoon.

A BATTLE South Taskforce team member was alerted to a vehicle in Colorado Springs which was associated with Daniel Allen, a murder suspect out of Lakewood.

The team followed the vehicle to Pueblo and was able to positively identify the driver as Allen. Pueblo police and FBI Safe Streets then made the arrest at Grand Ave. and 8th Street in Pueblo.
