Deputies investigating after woman shot in Cripple Creek

Teller County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a woman was shot Saturday night.

Deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshots being fired at the Lone Wolf campground just outside of Cripple Creek around 9:30 p.m.

Later, deputies received a call that a woman was found shot at a different location in Cripple Creek.

The Teller County Sheriff’s Office said the two incidents are related.

The woman found at the second location was taken to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Her condition has not been released.

Deputies are questioning several people regarding the incidents. So far no one has been charged in the case.
