Man robs Colorado Springs gas station, wears mask and displays handwritten note

Police responded to a robbery at the Kum and Go in the 1000 block of S. Nevada Ave. around 3:30 Tuesday morning.

The store clerk said a male wearing a mask and carrying a dark green duffel bag entered the store and presented a handwritten note demanding cash. The clerk complied and placed an undisclosed amount of cash into the bag.

The suspect is described as an unknown race male, approximately 5’9″ with a medium build. He was wearing a light and dark brown plaid jacket over a colored hoodie, blue jeans, dark colored shoes and appeared to be wearing dark colored gloves with a full “skull” mask.

No weapons were mentioned or seen during the robbery.
