Morning weather alert, then clearing – 11/8/18

TODAY: Patchy freezing fog is possible the first part of this morning, so be sure to leave yourself some extra time to scrape off your windshield. An icy spot or two is possible in areas where fog becomes dense, but widespread problems are not anticipated. Light snow is still possible through the early part of the morning, but accumulation is no longer expected. Clouds clear out through your lunch hour and we are left with cold sunshine this afternoon. Highs will only be in the 20s and 30s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and very cold temps for everyone. We cool into the 20s and even teens in places.

EXTENDED: Friday and Saturday look quiet and warmer with highs getting back into the 40s and 50s. We will be dry until Sunday when chances for snow move in. It is still too early to determine timing, impacts and accumulation. So right now, plan on a day inside and cold highs in the 20s to upper teens.
