B-2 stealth bomber makes emergency landing in Colorado Springs

A B2 stealth bomber made an emergency landing at the Colorado Springs airport.

Peterson Air Force Base tells us first responders were called to the scene just after 3 a.m.

A base spokesperson said there was an issue involving the plane but referred questions about the specific issue to the bomber’s home base, Whiteman Air Force Base in Warrensburg, Missouri.

The B2 carries a two-person crew. A news release from Whiteman AFB says both aviators were unharmed.
