Virginia town sets age limit on trick-or-treating

Trick, treat- or jail time. That’s a real threat facing teenagers in Virginia.

A newly uncovered ordinance in the city of Chesapeake bans trick-or-treating for anyone older than 12. If a teen gets caught, they could face a fine up to $100, or six months in jail.

Luckily for teens, police say they won’t be actively seeking out violations this year.
