Snow falls in Southern Colorado

Many people in Southern Colorado woke up to a light dusting of snow Wednesday morning.

Some morning commuters experienced fog and freezing temperatures while driving to work. Select grassy areas saw some light snow accumulations of about 1″.

Overall, roadways were wet during the morning commute. CSPD reported one crash due to icy and slick conditions on Powers Blvd. at Union Blvd.

The plows were also out and about Wednesday.

And visibility was low at the top of Pikes Peak.
