Additional Showers Possible 10-10-18

TONIGHT: Another Freeze Warning has been issued for most of the area into early tomorrow morning as lows return to the 20s and 30s. Low stratus clouds will continue to fill in again overnight leading to areas of dense fog and freezing fog. Light rain and snow showers will again be possible into early tomorrow. Some areas could even pick up another trace of snow on grassy areas.

TOMORROW: Snow will be ongoing across the Central Mountains tomorrow with some spillover onto the I-25 corridor and plains. Most of the lower elevations will see just rain showers but the mountains, foothills and Pikes Peak region could see some additional snow showers. Low clouds, areas of fog and chilly temps will be possible at times throughout the day. Highs will mainly be in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: Drier weather is expected Friday with more sunshine for the afternoon. This will bring temps into the 50s and 60s. Mostly sunny skies and milder temps are expected again Saturday. Big changes arrive by Saturday night as a strong cold front arrives bringing plunging temps and chances for snow. Sunday will bring the coldest air yet of the season with a hard freeze likely into early Monday.
