Denver based restaurant Snooze coming to Colorado Springs

The breakfast joint, Snooze, famous for its variety of brunch meals and creative morning cocktails, is officially bringing its unique vibe and high-energy atmosphere to the south.

With 28 current locations in operation around Colorado, California, Arizona and Texas, this will mark the restaurants first opening in the Colorado Springs market. Right now, the restaurants are currently only in the metro Denver, Fort Collins, and Boulder areas. =

“We’ve long been aware of our huge fan base and many ravers in the Colorado Springs area,” said David Birzon, current CEO of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. “And we’re extremely excited to bring Snooze to the Colorado Springs community.”

Snooze is opening in Spring of 2019 at 7587 N Academy Blvd, at the corner of N Academy and Goddard Street. The large restaurant will have plenty of room for family and friends, plus an outdoor patio that will be dog-friendly for your furry friend.

The breakfast joint is popular for making breakfast fun again with their famous pineapple upside-down pancakes, unique benedicts and inspired cocktails in Colorado Springs. They also specialize in seasonal menus and have partnered with Godoy’s coffee farm in Guatemala for some great tasting coffee to start your meal.

Snooze is also responsible for diverting 85-95% of their waste from landfills by composting and recycling where facilities exist. To also better help the environment, they serve their coffee in reusable mugs while you wait, use low flow water fixtures, high-efficiency lighting, and energy star rated appliances.

Every day on Earth Day, Snooze also plants one tree for each of its employees on the coffee farm, which has experienced heavy deforestation.

The restaurant has not announced an official opening date yet but tells fans to stay tuned. For more information about the company including menus, images, and interviews, contact Becky Fairchild at (720) 459-3139 or becky@snoozeeatery.com
