Weather Alert with Changes Arriving 10-3-18

TONIGHT: Storms will develop along the I-25 corridor through the evening hours. Scattered showers and some thunder will continue off and on tonight. Light scattered showers, areas of fog and low clouds will linger into early tomorrow. Lows will be cooler dropping to the 40s to near 50.

TOMORROW: The day starts cloudy and cooler with light scattered showers, areas of dense fog and low clouds. This will slowly clear out later in the day but will certainly keep those afternoon temps much cooler. Highs will only warm to the 50s and 60s. Some 70s will be felt through further south near the Raton Ridge. A few isolated storms may return later in the day.

EXTENDED: A slight warm up will take place into Friday with southwest winds but it won’t last long. Our next cold front arrives late in the day bringing a period of windy conditions and a few storms. This will also make it much cooler through the weekend. Clouds will linger with a few showers possible early Saturday. A stronger system arrives Sunday into Monday bringing better chances for rain with snow over the High Country. We remain cool with shower chances into Columbus Day before drying out and warming up through the middle of the week.
