Record warmth and lots of sunshine – 9/14/18

TODAY: We will be mostly sunny and hot today and our highs will warm into the 80s and 90s. Colorado Springs should tie the record for today, with near record warmth in Pueblo. Fire danger over the eastern plains will be elevated at times, as wind gusts there dip in and out of the 20s today.

TONIGHT: Clear skies and mild lows in the 50s and 60s. Mountain cities will feel the 40s tonight.

EXTENDED: We stay sunny, dry and hot right through the weekend, and really won’t see much change to that weather pattern until the middle of next week. Just isolated chances for showers and storms are in for Tuesday and Wednesday. Right now, Thursday looks like the better day for more widespread rain and storms.
