More record warmth today – 9/12/18

TODAY: Hot and sunny will be the weather story today, along with the potential to set new records in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Highs will be in the 90s over the lower elevations, with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s in the mountains.

TONIGHT: Clear skies will lows in the 40s and 50s. The cooler overnight lows will be felt over the higher elevations.

EXTENDED: The hot and dry weather continues right into the weekend. Records should be just a bit too warm on Thursday to break or tie, but more opportunities are
there for that to happen on Friday. By Monday and Tuesday, things should cool down a bit and we will start to increase the rain and storm chances.
