Gov. Hickenlooper orders flags lowered to honor late Senator John McCain

Gov. John Hickenlooper ordered all flags to be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings, until sunset on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018.

Hickenlooper’s order is in honor of the late Senator John McCain. McCain died of brain cancer on Saturday.

“John McCain dedicated his life to serving this country,” Gov. Hickenlooper said. “We (and the world) lost an incredible leader. He could never have imagined how much he’ll be missed.”
