CSPD responds to hit-and-run involving motorcyclist

Colorado Springs police officers went to E. Platte Ave and N. Murray Blvd around 9 a.m. Monday after a vehicle allegedly pulled out of a gas station and struck a nearby motorcyclist. (MAP)

Police said the suspect was driving a sedan and reported to have fled the scene. After police arrived at the intersection, neither the vehicle nor the suspect were able to be located.

CSPD said the motorcyclist, who hasn’t been identified yet, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
