Changes Arrive Tuesday 8-27-18

TONIGHT: Winds won’t be a strong tonight and lows cool to the 60s, 50s and 40s under a mostly clear sky. A few low clouds may work into the Eastern Plains as a cold front approaches.

TOMORROW: Tomorrow a strong cold front will be pushing through the area. It won’t have a lot of moisture to work with, so only isolated showers and storms are possible mainly in the evening and overnight. What you will notice is a significant drop in temperatures. Highs tomorrow will be between 10 and 15 degrees cooler than today.

EXTENDED: The long range looks dry and warm, with only isolated mountain showers for the end of the week. Temperatures will be on a slow warming trend through the end of the week. Chances for showers and storms will begin to increase late in the weekend into Labor Day.
