Showers and storms today – 8/22/18

TODAY: We will see clouds and quite a bit of fog to start your Wednesday morning. A stray shower is possible early on, but most wait to develop until the afternoon. The best window for showers and storms today will be between 12-3PM. Those push east and will arrive in the Eastern Plains in the late afternoon and early evening. There is a chance that one or two of these storms could be strong to severe out east. Highs today will be in the 60s and 70s.

TONIGHT: A few showers and storms are possible early on and then we are left with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the 50s in most spots.

EXTENDED: Not as much moisture will be present for the end of the week and over the weekend. Just isolated to spotty showers and storms are expected. Highs will warm up in turn to the 80s and 90s.
