Two Colorado Springs police officers injured responding to call

Two Colorado Springs police officers were injured after responding to a domestic violence call late Friday night.

It happened just after 8 p.m. in the 6300 block of Council Point. Officers were attempting to make an arrest for a domestic violence assault charge when the two officers were attacked themselves by the suspect.

Both officers received non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Cynthia Crowley, 19, was arrested for felony counts of 2nd degree Assault on a Peace Officer and related charges.
