Feeling a lot like fall – 8/20/19

TODAY: Smoke won’t be quite as dense at the surface as we move into the early afternoon, but you’ll still notice some haze. We’ll have lots of sunshine around the area today with fall-like afternoon temperatures. Some of you in the mountains might even need a jacket! Highs will be in the 70s to low 80s in the lower elevations with 60s in the mountains.

TONIGHT: An early mountain shower or sprinkle is possible as our dry, sunny weather maker moves east. Otherwise look for partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with lows in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow things begin to change in Southern Colorado. More moisture surges back in along with chances for strong to severe storms in the afternoon. This will carry over into Wednesday afternoon as well. Because of all the rain and storms, highs will be able to stay cool through the mid-week. Moisture chances look far less Thursday into the weekend, so highs warm back up to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
