Storms in the Days Ahead

TONIGHT: Any remaining storms will wind down past midnight leaving behind partly to mostly cloudy skies. Clearing will take place through the early morning hours with lows in the 50s and 60s. You’ll notice some 40s in the mountains.

TOMORROW: Tomorrow brings the chance for more strong, to maybe even severe storms. Hail and gusty winds would be the primary threats as these develop in the afternoon. Highs stay warm, in the 70s and 80s with a few low 90s possible in the Eastern Plains.

EXTENDED: Moisture chances will be in abundance as we head into the weekend. Highs stay in the 80s and 90s, with 70s over the high terrain. Things don’t look like they will be drying out any time soon, which will be good for our current drought situation. Temps will cool by about 3-5 degrees heading into early next week.
