Stormier Pattern Returns 8-13-18

TONIGHT: A few showers and storms will be possible across the far Eastern Plains beyond midnight. Cloud cover will also build in from the east. Most areas will be mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s tonight, with 40s in the mountains.

TOMORROW: We’re in for a pattern change as showers and storms return to the forecast and stick around for much of the week. Storms tomorrow will mainly be confined to the higher terrain and the I-25 corridor. Some small hail and lightning will be possible with these storms. Temps may be a few degrees cooler, with most areas in the 70s and 80s by the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Wednesday looks like the day to watch as a few strong to severe storms are possible. Large hail and damaging winds may accompany the strongest storms. Highs this week stay steady in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Thunderstorms are also possible this weekend with cooler temperatures. A fall-feel will be here for the weekend.
