Severe storms expected in Southern Colorado today

12:26 p.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Pueblo, Otero and Crowley Counties until 1:00 p.m. Half dollar sized hail and 60 mph winds are possible. This storm is rotating and has the potential to produce a funnel cloud or tornado.

12:25 p.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Pueblo County until 12:30 p.m.. ping pong ball sized hail is possible with this storm along with 60 mph winds.

11:54 p.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for El Paso, Pueblo and Crowley Counties until 12:30 p.m. This storm is moving southeast toward Ordway. Hail to the size of quarters and 60 mph winds are possible.

11:48 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for southern El Paso County and northeast Pueblo Counties until 12:30 p.m.. This storm is producing 60 mph winds and quarter sized hail.

11:46 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for southern El Paso County and Northern Pueblo County until 12:15 pm. This storm has just passed over Fountain and is moving into the Fort Carson area. This storm is capable of producing quarter sized hail and 60 mph winds.

11:23 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for eastern El Paso County, northeast Pueblo county and northwest Crowley County until 12:00 p.m.. This storm is moving south, southeast at 20 mph and has been warned for half dollar sized hail.

10:50 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for eastern El Paso County until 11:15 a.m.. Hail to the size of quarters is possible with this storm. Currently moving south toward Truckton at 20 mph..

10:19 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING continues for Northeast El Paso County. The hail core has weakened and is now producing hail to the size of quarters.

10:13 a.m. – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Northeast El Paso County until 10:45 a.m. Half dollar sized hail is possible with this storm. Moving south at 20 mph.

Severe storms are possible today around Southern Colorado. A cluster of strong storms dropping from the north is producing severe weather in parts of the area this morning. A second round is possible later this afternoon. Look for storms to develop between 12-3 p.m.. Stay with the network of KRDO and the StormTracker 13 Weather Team for the latest today.
