Another hot one – 07/08/18

Today: We’re sticking with hot temperatures the next several days! However, it won’t be as sizzling as what we experienced a couple of weeks ago. Today, highs will be similar to what we got yesterday. Temperatures will climb to the 90s for the lower elevations with the 80s for the local mountains! We’ll have lots of sunshine. There’s only a small chance for spotty storms, and these will be primarily taking place in the high country. Find ways to stay cool this afternoon!

Tonight: Into early tomorrow morning, lows drop to the 50s and 60s. We’ll have mainly clear skies overnight. Any storms will wind down.

Extended: Conditions stay primarily dry into the middle of the week! Through that time, there could be storms over the Continental Divide, but other locations should stay quiet. Starting Thursday, we’ll have increasing storm chances across the plains. This continues into next weekend. Temperatures stay relatively stagnant in your seven day forecast due to a stable ridge of high pressure reigning over the state.
