Pueblo deputies bust marijuana grow at house previously raided in 2016

A Pueblo West home that was previously raided in a marijuana bust back in 2016 was once again the setting of a marijuana raid by deputies Friday.

According to a news release from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, a tipster reported a possible marijuana grow operation at an “upscale home” on Dee Jay Court.

Deputies raided the house and found two grow rooms in the home’s basement. A total of 56 plants were found — 25 had recently been harvested and were being stored in trash bags. Deputies also seized grow equipment.

At this point, nobody has been arrested in connection with this raid, PCSO said.

The home was previously raided in May of 2016, and detectives found an estimated $1.3 million worth of marijuana. Seven people were arrested during that bust.

PCSO says detectives are still investigating Friday’s raid and whether or not it’s connected to the 2016 bust.
