People in Fountain still dealing with hail damage three days later

We drove around the Fountain and Widefield areas to see what areas are still damaged from Wednesday morning’s devastating hail storm.

“I have never seen anything like it in the forty year’s I’ve been here,” says one Fountain resident. Everywhere we looked cars are still damaged, tarps lay across roofs and windshields to make sure rain and glass doesn’t get in.

“We thought we were being attacked,” said a Widefield resident. Plenty of people are still out in full force helping one another. Everyone trying to get in touch with their insurance companies to come survey the damage at their homes while the waiting period gets longer and longer.
