One person shot near Dunkin Donuts in Colorado Springs

One man was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after being shot next door to a Dunkin Donuts in Colorado Springs.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. near on E. Bijou Street near N. Circle Drive

Police say the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but his current condition and identity aren’t known.

Officers didn’t say if there was any indication of a motive for the shooting.

The shooter isn’t in custody, but police said there’s no threat to the public at this time. The shooting is still under investigation.
