Stormy weather ahead – 5/5/18

TONIGHT: A few showers or a thundershower will be developing over the higher terrain tonight. Otherwise look for mainly dry, partly to mostly cloudy skies with lows in the 40s.

EXTENDED: A weak front will be moving through the region on Sunday afternoon. This has the potential to produce scattered showers and storms around Southern Colorado. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s in the lower elevations, 60s in our mountain cities. More warmth and another chance for storms move in on Monday. Severe weather is not expected but a storm or two could become strong, especially out over the plains. We have a time of dry skies and warm weather both Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain and storm chances ramp back up Thursday night through Saturday.
