Pueblo church offers help to kids impacted by possible teacher strike

If the Pueblo teacher strike takes effect, First Presbyterian Church in Pueblo has offered childcare for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade from 7: 30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The church located at 220 W. 10th Street in Pueblo, is offering low cost childcare for $3 per hour per child, with a $1 per hour discount for added siblings.The cost is to cover staff and craft supplies.

All staff and volunteers working with children at First Presbyterian are screened through background checks and trained.

Snacks will be provided, but your child will need to pack a lunch. The church encourages you to send any movies/or games that your child can share with others.
