Suspect arrested in Colorado Springs shooting

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a Sunday morning shooting.

Deputies arrested David Rhoades, 19, on first-degree attempted murder charges.

Investigators say he shot a man outside the Value Inn on Space Village Avenue.

That victim has life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say they found Rhoades hiding inside a hotel room. He surrendered without incident.
