Cool Easter forecast – 04/01/18

Today: It will be cool and crisp today! Temperatures will be noticeably cooler, dropping to the 50s in the lower elevations with the 40s and 50s for the local mountains. Overcast conditions are expected, and this will make temperatures feel even cooler! It could be a bit breezy in the eastern plains and mountains.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies are set for overnight. It could be a little blustery in places, but winds shouldn’t be much of an issue until the daytime Monday. Lows overnight drop to the 30s.

Extended: Temperatures will be rebounding significantly on Monday reaching the 70s and 80s possibly in the lower terrain! This will be accompanied by winds: gusts could reach the 30s and 40s! For this reason, combined with dry fuels and low relative humidity levels, we’ll have elevated fire danger. Fire Weather Watches have been issued. Beyond that into the work week, we expect varying temperatures with times of clouds and breezes.
