Pueblo PD identifies officers involved in Regency Square shooting

The two officers who shot a car theft suspect 10 days ago at the Regency Square Shopping Center have been identified.

Pueblo police say officers Vincent Nash and Gregory Golden were involved in the shooting, but they’ve been cleared to return to full duty.

Police ran the plates of the car the suspect was driving on March 13. The vehicle was reported stolen in a carjacking out of Colorado Springs on February 25.

Nash and Golden returned fire when the suspect ran away on foot and began firing shots at them. The suspect was taken to a local hospital, but we don’t know the extent of his injuries.
