VIDEO: Colorado man assaulted in bar while holding 4-year-old

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for one of two men involved in a disturbing bar fight where the victim was holding a 4-year-old child.

The fight broke out at 10 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Crossroads Pizza & Wings Bar in Pine Junction. Video of the incident was released Monday.

It’s not known what led to the fight, but the victim, Richard Warry Brown, can be seen holding his daughter while a verbal argument ensues with another man.

Then punches get thrown, and Brown is still holding his daughter when another man joins in and begins punching him in the face. Another person took the child, and the fight continued.

Brown was severely beaten and had to be airlifted to a trauma center. The daughter wasn’t injured. Brown was later issued a summons for misdemeanor child abuse.
